Japanese OILES (オイレス工業) seismic isolation devices showed remarkable effectiveness during the 0403 earthquake, with no impact on the building's structure, proving the effectiveness of seismic isolation devices in earthquakes.

The maximum instantaneous displacement reached 25 cm, not only stabilizing the protective effect of the seismic isolation device on the building structure but also fully demonstrating OILES' strong tolerance after the earthquake. Factory tests showed that OILES LRB-S could return to its original state even after a displacement of up to 80 cm without any external or internal deformation.

The Lee Shinn Vision iIn Sky Seismic Isolation Project in Yilan, which uses Japanese OILES (オイレス工業) seismic isolation devices installed by Taiwan Matsuzawa, showed remarkable effectiveness during the 0403 earthquake, with no impact on the building's structure, proving the effectiveness of seismic isolation devices in earthquakes.
